My Extension of stay permits me to stay up to 13/1/2015 tomorrow.

Does this mean when I go to Immigration tomorrow I am in breach of an overstay??

Been crook for a week and thought I'd be over it but I'm not.

Also I want to convert back to an Extension of Stay based on Retirement.

Am I in trouble?

If you go tomorrow you will not be on overstay.

Changing to an extension of stay to retirement will not be a problem if you are on one based upon marriage. But best to have your wife with you in case they want her approval or to know she is aware you are doing the change.

Just be sure you have your financial proof ready.

Tommorow you are not late.

Do you have the financial proof for retirement extension?

Bank letter or income statement?

Thanks guys, I have my financials in order.

Just getting the paperwork together now and reading and got worried I had made a mistake.

Are there any other forms required to make the change?

Sorry for the additional question.

Bangkok did require a normal employment type medical report when I changed, but this was about a decade ago. And they did require wife be present to show she understood the change in status. Even if you must delay a day or two should not be an issue if you start tomorrow. The normal passport copies and TM.7 with photo are about all you should need (have some evidence of residence if moving from wife abode - is staying what is on file should be good).

Mine was the same - very hard for wife to make trips as car sick - they finally agreed to take a doctor certificate if she could not attend but she decided to go with me the next day. It is easier as only one has to feel well and only paperwork is the form/passport arrival card copies and financials. And most places only one trip instead of two.
