Can anyone confirm that it's possible to make a visa extension in any office immigration (like Ranong) ? Just to be sure that we don't have to go back to Bangkok... How long does it take ? Any details welcome. Thank you so much

Yes Ranong does all types of extension of stay that are allowed by regulations. How long it takes depends by how many people are there on that day.

On what basis would the extension be done?

If you want a 30 day extension of 60 day tourist visa entry or a visa exempt entry you can do it at any immigration office if you have a local address to put on the application form. Extensions are done while you wait.

It is for extension of a 15 days exemption we'll get at the cambodian border... Just need 10 days more (we have our return flight). Should be ok ? Thanks again

You can get the 30 day extension without a problem. You will get a 30 day entry if you are from a G7 country.
