To be perfectly honest, assuming this isn't a troll post, you really aren't ready to start anything in Thailand with your current research and frame of mind. I realize you may be a very successful, busy businessman, but you need to see for yourself instead of listening to secondhand information and asking for secondhand information on anonymous forums. davethailand Posted January 18, 2015 Share Posted January 18, 2015 Had a bar business in Pattaya for almost 14 years and have NEVER been approached by "mafia" asking for money. a dodgy tax man yes (not for long though) and the normal contribution's to the local "charities" but never pressured.
