Anthony5
Glad to read that under General Happiness corruption has been weeded out completely, and no sub standards in government construction projects will be used.
berybert
Was it carelessness or an accident. If it wasn't for carelessness there wouldn't have been an accident. But it was migrant workers and Italian-Thai development Plc. So it will be dodgy Cambodians working on faulty Italian construction. No Thai was harmed in the making of this project. Move along please. Edited January 21, 2015 by berybert

starky
So now workers comp will kick in of course due to the employers duty of care for their employees and all medical bills and full wages will be paid by the employer until the workers have made a full recovery and are ready to return to work.....Right?

So you're privy to information about the reason for the collapse that no-one else is? You can see looking at the type of scaffold used in the picture for a 5 metre height - this is inadequate and careless ( yes I do run a scaffold company )
