If there serious about turning Thai airlines around They first need to Take controlling interest from Government. The world knows the Thai Government can't figure it's way out of a wet paper bag much less manage an airline. I would suggest hiring a farang as Head of airline it needs forward thinking, not some one given the job due to power or position. I would suggest seeking to expand there market in the US since there doing well there. I would cut back on Russia and China And look toward western countries more. Australia and New Zeland would also be good since they spend more than Chinese.

I suggest they copy TAT and look for high quality travelers and then double all the freebies they give their own cronies/staff ie first/business travel free for all their families, then update all the planes, should be gone in a year an no need to worry myself with them again
