Commerce
Which one is Rattapon in the OP picture? Looks like a female to me, not being stabbed! If there was a raucous, why are the 2 boys simply eating dinner undisturbed? Where's the next few seconds of the CCTV?

Strangebrew
Next time grab a hand full of nuts and bring to the attackers chin works every time then when in pain on the ground stomp him to a mud puddle and walk him dry. That will send warning to the rest.

cougar52
Is this what they said before a Thai could not do this... Same goes with the Murderer and Rapist, what a worthless shit raping elderly women. Sorry to say, but Thailand is going down hill big time. Sometime you need to punish people and with more than a 500 or 1,000 Baht fine and six months or a year suspended sentence.

Enzian
Nobody would bother trying to steal my old phone Nor mine. I saw a beggar on the sidewalk with my same Thai Nokia the other day! But then, there is a 6 Plus in a zipped pocket.
umbanda
First..the picture is not related with the crime. Was on Chanel 3 news this week, and the CCTV video shows all the action, but also shows that any pedestrian around went to even see what was happening...most turned away the scene. Second...I think is stupidity to risk the life for any material thing. I hope he will get compensations to take care of his hospital bill, that probably will be a lot more than the cost of a IPhone 6. He is lucky was not more seriously injured...Those attackers are always armed in same way....or not alone. Third...Probably this is happening more often that we think...To walk the streets of some places showing any valuable objects..is to look for trouble... Sounds terrible...but in many countries I know, women can lose its ears and fingers resisting to people taking its jewelry .....Weapon? A shaving blade. Do not complaint about Thailand's crime....its still in the learning period comparing with other countries... I was on a London commuter train when a hoodie scumbag snatched a girl's phone and tried to exit in front of me ( we were stopped at a station ). I tried to stop him and we wrestled a bit, but he escaped. NOT ONE other person, including the girl tried to help me. I'll never do that again for anyone else, unless I know them. falangjim
This looks like an old story from months ago. At least the photo looks the same as a story about a phone being stolen months ago from a Thai woman. The location looks very much the same. So for the price of the i phone 6 the Chinese girl was asking you could get two and a half Thai virgins.
