I think you're on the wrong thread mate.... now crawl back into your dark damp hole (thread) where you belong... and stay there... you're more than pathetic.

Nick, you can't blame the Mickey Mousers for clinging to the past. They haven't won the league since the back pass was outlawed. They never did know how to defend, the keeper used to have the ball more than any other Liverpool player. They used to bore teams into submission.

Oh my goodness, I didn't realize he is a mickey mouser, I would have gone easy on him, he must be suffering after all these years in the wilderness.... and still living in the 70's ad 80's, wonder if he still dresses like in those days gone by cheesy.gif

555555 "Didn't realise he was a Mickey Mouser"? You really are a thicko sunshine...the word "Anfield" and the 707070 etc would even have convinced Alfie C where my loyalty lies. Still, nice to see the new Yiddo rottweiller is even more dense than his mates 5555 (Carmine/Smokie excepted).

As for the living in the past, it was your own quote I was responding to you silly prat(t) (Tottenham link!).

And as for years in the wilderness, if memory serves me right, Spurs have won 2 League Cups since 1991. In that time LFC have won 4 League Cups, 3 FA Cups, 2 Charity Shields, 1 UEFA Cup, 1 UEFA Super Cup.....oh and a Champions League. You can only dream about a wilderness like that. Maybe you should have signed Moses to help you out.

Finally, as for my sartorial elegance, 70's/80's was all suits (no, not court appearances 5555). Now having packed in work 15 years early, I am more a shorts and (collared) shirts on the golf course where I live type. How about yourself? singlet and tattoos in your rented room I bet 5555

PS:

Sorry Alfie...you were the gift that keeps on giving, but Casino has usurped your position with ease.

Seriously - how the fuc_k did he not get sent off?

It's even worse from the rear (excuse the pun!).

Accidental.

Female assistant referee would have given it though.

And Vertonghen would have got a 3 match ban for bringing the game into disrepute.

DEFOE or SOLDADO to start?

For me it's a tough call. Lamela and Erikson service - is this what Defoe has been craving for? (Not to mention Holtby, Rose et al). Tough call for AVB. Two more good goals and one with his head see Nick's link.

Views from the Spurs Fans?

What a brilliant position to be in.

He doesn't score many with his head

In all fairness completely accidental. Jan didn't even realise he had hold of the shorts until he looked up saw the skid marks!

Of course it was accidental. He was trying to grab his shirt.

Penalty and red card any way you slice it.

He fell over and the natural momentum meant he could do little else other than extend arms to break his fall.

Would you like some straws to clutch at? It's not like they're going after him retrospectively, is it?

Anyway, the ref didn't give it and Spurs won.

Possibly more interesting is the thought of David Moyes clutching at shorts to break his fall?

Just a thought.

Whose shorts? Neville, Giggs, Roon's or Johnnie Walker's ?

Portugese Dao. Jose and SAF left a few dregs.

Lol.... The lads have composed a new song.....

Spurs fans have unveiled a chant for new hero Christian Eriksen and they couldnt resist including a pop at Arsenals record signing Mesut Ozil.

The song, to the tune of Black Laces Agadoo, goes:

Eriksen, sen, sen; Hes our number 23.

Eriksen, sen, sen; Came to play for AVB.

To the left to the right; Hes our midfield Dynamite.

When he plays for the Lilywhites; He makes Özil look sh*te.

Ozil v Eriksen? What drugs are you taking? Ozil is only 24, he was a first team player at Madrid at 21, capped for Germany at 19.

Eriksen might have promise (like so many others) but Ozil is the real deal.

Now I've said that Eriksen will score a hat trick on Saturday. Lol.

Eriksen, 4 caps for Denmark. Not Germany standard. 4 goals against the mighty Iceland, Scotland, Georgia and Poland.

Ozil 15 international goals.

Ozil played in Spain, Eriksen played in some cr4p league.

Not denying he has potential, but he isn't in Ozil's league.

Have to accept what you say.... No time now to research right now. The difference between the two is indisputable. One plays for Spurs who are top 2 this year. The other plays for the ARSE who are really gonna struggle January onwards. 6th would be fitting for the gooners; I am sure Nostril will do his bit!

One would walk in to any team as first choice, the other would be a squad player at Chelsea, City and Arsenal.

One had a team owner pleading with another owner not to sell to a rival, the other no one else cared.

One has been a household name for footie fans fans for over 3 years, the other had everyone scrambling to YouTube.

In all honesty, if Eriksen becomes half of what Ozil is you will have a very good player. I really rate Ozil, which is why I asked this board early in the Bale saga, why don't you ask for Ozil when money plus players was being touted.

Last season the opposition player I coveted most was Bale. This year it is Ozil.

Sorry mate but now you're starting to over do the Ozil/Eriksen thing. Perhaps you should check out the playing stats before posting lines like "if Eriksen ever becomes half what Ozil is" and such like!

I'll start with arguably the most significant which is that he created more scoring chances last season(143 i believe) than any player in the top five european leagues

Secondly in 98 games for Ajax he scored 25 with 43 assists.

Not bad for a player two years younger than Ozil and according to you might never be even half as good.

Don't know about anyone else but i bet Ozil would have been proud of having that first stat in particular, to his name.

Ofcourse as i always say, you are welcome to your opinion.

We have got Hull at home in the League Cup. What an excellent draw for our reserves to get stuck in to. The more practice we get (reserves playing together competitively) the better we will do in both this competition and the Europa league. COYS

Carmine, I didn't say he would never be half as good as Ozil. In fact I repeated the fact he has potential twice.

Twice you have repeated the fact of his stats in the 'top 5 leagues', why not say the 5th best league? The Dutch league isn't that great and to compare it to the Spanish league is ridiculous. But as you say, opinions are like ar53holes, everyone has one....
