Motorbike Insurance when renting a motorbike?
You may need to contact a Broker about this, although its an execellent idea, its somewhat 'colouring outside the lines' especially for a Motorcycle.... I imagine that most 'rental motorcycles' have just the basic government insurance and the rider is going to be held accountable for any damages, which, I assume is what you are attempting to protect yourself from. First option is of course ensure you are licensed to ride a motorcycle in Thailand, as without this, any insurance is void anyway. -

What is one thing you learned from lefties?
Reading today that Kamala had to pay Oprah $1 million to interview her, calling it "journalism."🤣 Oprah so concerned to "save democracy," LOL. Paid advertiser. -

Trump Declares Victory and Promises a "Golden Age" for America
Why are some states still counting? The election was 5 days ago now. Do they have educational problems in these states where counting is somehow difficult for the people that live there and are in charge of counting? -

Sainsbury's Faces £140 Million Hit from National Insurance Hike, Warns of Rising Inflation
This is by far the best post in this entire thread. Too many people stroking their imagined grievances to support their already made up mind. Labour could cancel all personal income tax and give everyone free cars and you would still have Jonny and James and the others saying Labour hate Britain etc etc. No acknowledgement that the Tories stuffed up the economy and decimated public services, no suggestions of how they would fix the £40b hole in the country's finances, just parroting what they already believe, and if Sainsbury's are unhappy it must mean the world is coming to an end. All we need now is for the gammon faced Weatherspoons hypocrite to pipe up and James and co can get in to another tizz. Personally I think Labour are trying to do their best to fix what they inherited and they should be judged on the results, not on imagined scenarios. They are making tough and unpopular decisions that the Tories shied away from and it's not because they hate Britain. Their second budget will be most telling for me. -

Over 50 and Feeling the Frustration
Seriously, using your body in a healthy way and also stimulate and maintain muscles as well do some coordination exercises prevents pain. Doing nothing you most likely feel more pain, or do to much as well. Of course an healthy balanced diet with the right nutrition also helps as well doing some positive brain exercises for good mental health. Very few are gifted with good genes who do not need to do anything for their health while they are aging. -

Spike in American's interest in moving abroad post election -- hot air yet again?
Thailand isn't high on the list of searched destinations. As far as moving here it will continue to be about retirement, digital nomads, people with Thai relatives or lovers, etc. as opposed to politically motivated moves which may I remind you is the topic here. -
