Need a cheap and easy pad thing.....

Featured Replies

I have had my current mobile phone for around 12/13 years, it works, it's rugged, the battery holds it's charge for days/week and stores all my numbers and I have no plans to change that until it finally gives up the ghost.

I also have a Samsung net-book which I have also had for many years which I use for internet around the house and could possibly use that, but it is a little heavy..

I plan on travelling a lot more and it would be useful to have a simple to use device which is not too heavy/big about the size of an Ipad (10"), but a lot cheaper. I would like to be able to find stuff on the internet when I am out and about, book flights, etc and send/receive emails and if possible store/view data form my camera and action cam. Oh I want Skype too.......

I don't need games, facebook or music or any of that, nor satnav, as a map and compass works for me on the bike and a TomTom in the car.

With all my budget going on travel I would like something cheap, perhaps an old model now out of favour with the rest of the world, also it doesn't hurt if it gets stolen.

Any (sensible) suggestions?
