February 3, 201511 yr KSK has a security guard posted at the front entrance with a small table and a sign that reads (not exact quote): In compliance with government security policy, please prepare to have your bags checked at entrance. One suspects this is a result of the Siam Paragon pipe bomb incident a couple of days ago.

February 3, 201511 yr I entered KSK nearest the basement food court and east side parking lot--and, surprise surprise, there was no security.
February 4, 201511 yr It's a periodic thing depending on phases of the moon or the latest terrorist scare. Occasionally they check for bombs under your car with a mirror on a stick. It's a wonderful implement as the guards don't even have to look at the mirror to ensure you're bomb free.
