Very pleased you got your daughter home safely. Best wishes to all your family in the future.

A reminder to thoughtless posters on this forum, families DO often read what you write as we can see from this case, so think before posting in future.

Tough times ahead with any kids, but you are clearly a strong, caring family and I hope that you still can find rays of sunshine on the difficult days.

Good that all went well and that you managed to get through this difficult trip to Bangkok.

In a way, your emergency was one of the rare occasions where the forum really mattered and could make a difference. If was an opportunity for the community to show its best and also its worst. It is up to the moderators to make improvements as to the worst side.

Many share your views.

With the obvious exception of Theresa's update on Hannah, and her thanks for all involved, I think Mike nailed it with one sentence:

"In a way, your emergency was one of the rare occasions where the forum really mattered and could make a difference"
To all involved, you should take your time reading that.
It was a pleasure hearing people on TV (who were in the right area) volunteering and wanting to help. I'm sure if it happened elsewhere in Thailand the enthusiastic response would have been the same.
One of the things that makes ThaiVisa such a strong forum.
Very, very happy for you Theresa and Hannah, that everyone ended up safe after the ordeal.

well if she travals again lets hope it a more happy experience for her good luck for the future

This is wonderful news that you have for us, i am sure that there many genuine ex-pats here who feel likewise. Please take no notice of the negative idiots on TV., for every one there are probably 100 genuine ones posting. We all know who these idiots are, they pick anything they can to satisfy their small minds, and probably just cannot help themselves. Good luck with your daughter.

Wow.... What a lucky ending. Such great news!
