They seem to have given up on rugby, despite Sevens becoming an Olympic sport. Or perhaps they will throw their weight behind Hong Kong - they have a similar problem to Great Britain, in that they have several IRB Unions that could represent their Olympic nation. Anyway, best wishes to Thailand in the Asian Five Nations (lower divisions) - I'm not sure what's happening this year SC SC

When it comes down to it, sport is all about money, and the Americans just don't have it, so great rugby players like Carlin Isles have to ply their trade in Scotland. Obviously, they;re stronger in league, but that hasn't translated into international success, as our victory in Barton On Irwell in the last world cup proved. SC

Minor explosions in are so frequent a part of life in Bangkok as to barely be worth commenting on. no this was full on multiple loud booming for about 5 minutes then abrupt stop. first one was booming enough that i even though it could have been a bomb at a distance. was slightly relived when the others followed a little while later.
