Hi, I'm a female UK national (married to Thai husband) and on a non-imm O visa based on marriage. On 23rd March we have an appointment with CM Immigration for 1 year extension.

We're expecting our first child next week, and have just moved house, and so are living at a different address from before. My husband's name, is still on the tebian baan for the old house, for which he is the leader for on that book. (His family still have that house).

We have a tebian baan book for our new house, but he has not transferred his name on there yet.

My question is, for the 1yr renewal, will my husband's name have to be in the tebian baan of the new house or ??

Will this be an issue for them?

We should also have our daughter's birth certificate by then, and I guess we will have to put her in the new tebian baan book too ?

By coincidence my 90day reporting is also due on 23rd march, so I guess I will have to put my new address.

Thanks.

Immigration doesn't care if your husband's tambien baan is current or not. They just want a copy of it as additional proof of identity.

You will need to supply a note from the landord (if not your husband) that he is renting to you as a family.

After your daughter is born he can do all the updates needed.

You can choose where you put yur daughter on the tabien baan. Many children are listed elsewhere than they actually live. That is also done because it influence the school they can go to. Children from the neighbourhood have a greater change to be addmitted to a school of good reputation.

So immigration won't mind that my husband's name isn't in our new tebian baan book yet? Erm, sorry I don't understand, I'm not renting the new house, my husband owns it ?

Immigration will not mind, but they will need some rpoof of you actually residing there. That could be a utility bill in your or your husbands name.

I think that if the husband owns, he will have a chanote for the land or unit. But, even a bill will suffice. Immigration then can always come to verify in person.
