crf250m Tyres...

Bridgestone Trail Wing might be available here? More street than off-road - but has some off road capability.

Continental Twinduro is another option.

I really liked the look of the Pirelli MT tires on the new Ducati Scrambler - but not sure if they will be available in the right width and profile as they were specially destined for the Scrambler?

The trail wing might be a good option, I just need a bit of grip for some tracks. The standard tyres have none!

I'll google them and have a looksy! Thanks.

(If they do the in the 250m size that is)

Yes, the MT60 and Scorpions are the type I'm looking for, assuming they fit the 250m.

The MT60 are the ones on the Ducati Scrambler - but I think they will be too wide? I know we can fit wider tires than the original equipment - but it will effect the handling.

pirelli scorpion mt90s fit. and i think they are good at 50% - 50% on/off road.

others more for offroad.

these too. more off road though:

The mt90s are exactly what I'm looking for! 50/50.

Thanks for that!!

Don't suppose you know (or can estimate) the price? I can't read Thai on their site....

Aren't the fronts too big for the 'M'?

yes they are. no tire at pirelli can fit your bike. confused with 'l' tire sizes.

op check dirt bike bangkok. maybe they have something for you.

Evenin' all, i bought a modded M 2 days ago and it came with scorpions. They are a bit on the big side but thats how thais like things.

Its a 120 70 ZR! On the front and 150 70 R on the rear. The bike turns in a bit harshly but i havnt played with the pressures yet plus the rear shock was drilled to lower it. I put that back to stock and need to check the fork height next. Ive only done 10km on it so far! Every other possible mod seems to have been done except a drc rear light

Took my CRF250M to the local "Pirelli" bike shop, and he had a look at the tyre sizes and ordered me in the tyres that ll2 mentioned.

I'll wait until they arrive and are on the bike before I confirm everything (TIT)

so they have something for m, huh?

yep, as i have seen some crf250ms at Burapha bike week and they were carrying dual purpose tires.

He (Shop owner) 'seemed' pretty switched on and confident. But I couldn't ask him if he was certain because of the language barrier. I just hope he didn't confuse my M for an L.

We shall see!! whistling.gif

My friend just went to Bangkok and wrote this back.

Perelli is delivering to my hotel. I bought the MT60 Corsa set because it was the only ones in stock. $358 for the set. The other tires with more nobby profiles will come in around late December so I couldn't wait.

We will see how they go. This is for a CRF250 M.

Ok we fitted the Pirelli MT60 RS Corsa tyres today. Was pretty hard to get them on and had to go down the local tyre store to pop the bead into place as we only had a hand pump at home. Go out to test them tomorrow.
