PHUKET: -- Hey lovers out there, this Valentine’s Day Phuket officials have announced a pretty special line up of activities.

The Phuket Regional Blood Centre have initiated a 'Give Love, Share Kindness by Donating Blood' event which will take place from February 13 – 15, 9:00am – 3:00pm.

Porntip Rattajak, Chief of the centre says, “This Valentine's Day, the day of love, we would like to invite everyone to come and spread the love and happiness with others at the Phuket Regional Blood Centre.”

All donors will receive a heart-shaped key ring as a souvenir.

Other activities outlined by Supoj Chanakij, Phuket District Chief, will also include photo shoots for couples, which will feature various exciting backdrops. All lovers will also receive souvenirs and gifts from Mr Supoj.

He said a large number of people register their marriage on Valentine’s Day, more so than any other day of the year. So, despite the fact that Valentine’s Day falls on a Saturday, the office have decided to open specially for this day.

“We expect around 90-100 couples to register this year. The District Office will be open for marriage certificate registrars from 8:30 – 4:30pm.”
