Redmouse Posted February 13, 2015 Share Posted February 13, 2015 I'm sorry I don't have a picture but wonder if anyone knows what the fruit / nut is that seems to be in season all of a sudden. It's a pod that is green / pink and is twisted in a spiral. You can see the lumps of the fruit / nut inside. When opened, the fruit / nut is white or pinkish curled around a black seed which you take out. A very nice lady selling these by the bag by the side of the road let me try one and it didn't taste of much, rather like a soft nut that left the mouth dryish. I did ask her what they were but she laughed at me ... I get that a lot when I try to speak Thai If no-one can help then I'll try to get a picture.
