Can I come and go and come back?

I am a UK citizen. I am in Thailand now.

I have a 30 day visa exemption, which was extended once. I have to leave by 1st of March. I will do so. I will go to Cambodia for 2 weeks, then back to Thailand, then to Malaysia for a week or so, then back to Thailand again. Is this all legal without visiting any visa offices in advance?

Yes! The limitation is on out and in, going to another country and turning around and coming right back in.
