BANGKOK: -- Royal Thai Police spokesman said this morning the two suspects in the bombing at Siam Paragon earlier this month could be foreigners.

Police Lt. Col. Prawuth Thawornsiri said it is very strange police have found no match to fingerprints recovered from the crime scene with any criminal records, so he said it’s possible the bombers could be foreigners who’ve lived in Thailand for so long they can speak the language fluently.

Why did this new take so long to come out? Surely it was obvious that the police would conclude they're foreigners.
