"Oh..wait...did I just say that out loud? I meant the exact opposite..."

cheesy.gif

The cops photo says it all, astute, savvy, canny and completely aware of what's going on I think not. What was the question again?

So stupidly xenophobic its riduculous.

Of course, it could be that Thais could never have come up with such a clever plan to evade detection......

Why do TV members always assume that the Police blame everything on foreigners?

I think this is just a translation error - he meant they could have members of Foreigner - the 1970's soft rock band.

I have no problem seeing them go to jail for this or anything else...

What planet do these clowns live on???

Whenever there is a crime some clown has a press conference blaming foreigners.cheesy.gifcheesy.gif

They have no detection skills what so ever, so blame foreigners !!EASY!! they left the country already.

Who are they trying to fool??

i'm leaning towards aliens from outer space did it.

How about the 50+ million Thais whose fingerprints they do not have on record? biggrin.png

When did the government hire a guy for the position of a convenient spokesman. And how much did he pay to get the job?

They have no idea who did it clap2.gif

When in doubt blame the foreigners its always an easy out. Call Sherlock Holmes. He will find the villains that did the dastardly deed.

should change to being Keystone cops haha

I was going to say this you stole my idea. Can I sue?

This clown is Police Chief Somyot's right hand man.

Is there any conclusive evidence to prove, beyond any doubt, that the perpetrators were not from Mars?

"I am the police spokesman and my job is to open my mouth and let warm air come out...any words arriving with the warm air are purely accidental and have no relevance."

But don't you want to know what love is?

They could be Thais too....laugh.png

The BiB are assuming all Thais have criminal records and thus have given finger prints.

And why would foreigners have any interest in Thai politics and / or throwing ping pong bombs around the place.

English teachers gone rogue.

They missed the TCT by a milelaugh.png

Even a good fiction writer could not make this up!

And, Jesus, everyone knows that it was Mr Mustard, in the foyer, with a candlestick as a detonator.

This stinks of Burmese, or possibly Laos / Cambodian.

Hahaha they have no idea. No fingerprints…well better start checking all the Soi dogs, I heard they are getting street smart these days LOL. Incompetent work once again, no clues, no evidence that's traceable, nothing except the voices in their head saying it must be foreigners cause no Thai would ever do this.

No, it was me :-) As im residing here for several years, have no crime rec (yet); however, my Thai is not fluent... but im a farang! Im waiting for a classic interview invitation (warrant) soon. The procedure transcript - I promise, jing, jing - I will post on every blog around the region to showcase the outstanding and brilliant police work in Thailand! <irony off>

Ps: i think thats a wig ;-)

So, following this logic:

1. Thai police figure print EVERY Thai person at some early point in their lives;

2. The bombers just had to have a past criminal record

3. The fingerprint records have not been lost, stolen, or eaten by the soi dog

4. The fingerprints found at the scene could NOT belong to anyone except the perpetrators.

There does appear to be a pattern emerging whereby the mythical "foreigner" emerges when the police arrive at their level of incompetence.

Isn't it a fact that all Thai citizens from age of 12 years with Thai ID card have fingerprints recorded on the database for this very reason. To identify perpetrators of crime from government database if in fact it works???

I said it in my first reply on this item.

Wanna bet they're going to blame some foreigners for it, like in the Koh Tao case ???

Thai don't do this.

It looks like I was right !!!
