Police respond to shots fired outside of South Pattaya Pub



PATTAYA: -- A motorbike taxi driver was caught with a loaded gun outside of a South Pattaya pub on Tuesday Morning after he is alleged to have fired three times into the air as he was not permitted entry by security guards.

Police were called to the Tawanchai Pub in Soi Bongkot just after 7am and detained Khun Kwanchai aged 23. He was with his girlfriend and had sustained facial cuts and bruising after guards allegedly assaulted him after disarming the man at the entrance to the Pub.

It was reported the suspect attempted to gain entry to the Pub with three women. When he was refused because the venue was already closed, he became angry and embarrassed to the point where he returned to his car and produced a gun which he fired three times into the air.

What cracks me up is the headlines to these articles. They rarely have anything to do with the story they are assigned to. Perhaps the reporter is shocked that the police responded, but should have emphasized that point into the storyline. "Police Answer Phone After it Rings"
