Tapatalk nuisance

Featured Replies

This pesky outfit is displaying a banner ad that strips across the top of the page on my iPad (Not on my PC, though), and seems to affect local web pages. The ad cannot be removed - but it covers all of the functions you might be using normally at the top of the page, and thus reduces your internet usage - things like a search engine, for example.

Anyone else notice this?

Either the geektards have screwed up, or it's a deliberate and sneaky marketing ploy. Whatever, but it doesn't endear one to the company.

You don't say on what website you are experiencing what you call "Tapatalk nuisance". If you are reading the Thaivisa forum on your iPad, it will be best if you use the free Thaivisa Connect app, which you should be able to download here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/thaivisa-connect-thailand/id492600537.

For a small fee, you can download the Thaivisa Connect PRO app, which will display no ads on your screen. See this recent announcement: http://tech.thaivisa.com/thaivisa-launches-new-ad-free-mobile-app/4991/?utm_source=tech-newsletter-20150218-1542&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=news
