What I have found is for the first half of the day the main pages as well as Opinion , Business etc are behind a patwall, then at some point during the day the main page was no longer behind the paywall, and finally in the evening much of them main page is once again behind a paywall. I miss Roger Crutchley too, but thb99 is too high a price value-wise and remember - that is 1st month only as it then trebles thereafter. The part I miss is the interraction with other readers via comments but clearly we can still express an opinion on AN so it's survivable! Otherwise so many other Thai news sites in English language give decent news, The Nation, Thaiger, Khaosod, Matichon all of which compare more favourably for content than BP.
