Wanted Dutch Drug Cultivation & Distribution Suspect arrested in Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- In the early hours of Friday, Chonburi Immigration arrested a 41 year old Dutch National, wanted by German Police in connection with the cultivation and distribution of Marijuana from his base in Ibiza, Spain in 2010.

Mr. Ronald Cornelis Vink was arrested at the Planet Earth Beach Club in Soi 15 off Jomtien Beach Road following a tip-off. He had been on-the-run in Thailand since he arrived on 25th March 2012 and was tracked for a period of 4 months in 2012 but Police lost track of him until now.

Where did it say he was guilty of anything? He is being sent to Germany for a trial that will decide his guilt or otherwise.

Don't they have anything better to do? In many German states consumption of marijuana is not illegal anymore.

It looks like he is wanted for production and trafficking, not consumption.

One imagines that anyone producing and trafficking drugs probably doesn't pay tax on the proceeds either, so that's another charge he may face.

For sure he did something but for trafficking from Ibiza to Germany?

Thats like bringing cocaine from Europe to Colombia...
