philipinphuket
To save the long walk from and back (with heavy bag) to the new car park, I wonder if okay to pick up my gf outside the arrivals hall or will I get in to trouble with the taxi drivers? The idea is to park outside the airport and wait for her to call me when she has her bag, so then I will drive in and it will be a 30 second stop and pick up. Colonel Klink
People do that all the time. Just be careful where you wait outside the airport. I've seen Police ticketing cars parked on the section of main road, adjacent to the new car park building.

LivinginKata
We do this all the time when picking up friends from airport.
stevenl
Yes, no problem at all. I prefer to park in the new car park though and walk back, all bags have wheels these days. And a 2 minute walk really is not that long to me.

Valentine
There is a shuttle bus which runs from outside Burger King to the new car park. Do not have to wait long. However, I normally do as others said, park outside & then pick up right by the arrivals door.
