Why many thais don't value their money?

Featured Replies

Never saw this. My wife and her family eat everything they get their hands on! Nothing goes to waste.

OP is full of crap - Thais are not wasters.

  • Most Thais I encounter eat everything put in front of them. The only Thais I have ever see 'order and leave' are Thai prostitutes ordering at some foreigners expense. Where are these people you see,

???????

I have never met a more money-focused group of people, than Thais.

If it was not based on greed and money, then it would not be as corrupt as it is.

If they come from a farming family, they'd never throw away food. Otherwise, yeah, I see this in heaps around TH. Thais generally eat like birds though. With the exception of special occasions, they typically eat small amounts and/or pick at the food over the course of several hours.

As far as money in general goes, I don't see many differences between here and the west. They say Thais are happy to have enough for today, but it's fairly similar back home. I know tons of idiots that will spend their last dollar on a new guitar or cable television before they feed themselves.

Why do you think most of the soi dogs looks well feed.

We sometimes bring food home from restaurants when one of us didn't eat all, sometimes we eat it, sometimes the dog gets it, it depends.

No food goes to waste at home, the dog gets all leftovers and I am impressed that he can eat the sometimes really spicy food, he-he.

I picked a bit of mold off my bread today and then ate it - guess I am not integrating very well

you wasted that mould......your'e damn right your'e not integrating, shame on you......and YOUR sortbah.gif
