WheresWaldo
My family puts the brown rice in the rice cooker with the appropriate amount of water, lets it soak all night, then turns it on to cook first thing in the morning. Works well. Edited March 8, 2015 by WheresWaldo
Craig krup
My pal has a rice cooker with a brown rice function which produces fluffy rice with all the B vitamins and fibre. Doubtless most rice cookers at 500 baht and above have a brown rice function, but who can read the instructions? For one pot cooking a pressure cooker and an induction plate has to be the way forward. Drape a towel over the whole thing, take it up to pressure, and then turn the heat off and let it cool. The ambient temperature is so high I bet it would take 45 minutes for the pressure to drop and the rice will be well wanged, on about 2 baht of electricity.
