I already know I'm going to get a lot of crap for this but I will ask anyway. I'm just looking for maybe just one person who feels similar.

I've been backpacking through South East Asia and noticed something interesting. I was watching this movie (Blackhat) when the white main actor gets confronted in a restaurant to what looks like your typical male south east Asians. He then fights about 5 of them and really beats them up. What was weird was I enjoyed him bashing their faces in. The adrenalin was flowing through me and I just wanted him to bash these Asians heads in and that was what he was doing. I was even saying to myself, please smash his head into the table, and that is what he was doing and I enjoyed it.

Then It got me thinking, where is all this deep down hate coming from. Why do I deep down want to see these Asians getting beat up?

Please understand that I don't walk around all the time and think about beating up the locals, but sometimes it will surface and there is no denying that I have built up rage from living here so long.

I'm also not going to lie to you people, I would love to see these South Asians heads get smashed in. I wondered why only after two months do I feel like this? I stayed in Thailand for a month and then in Cambodia for another month when I watched the movie in Cambodia and felt these feelings surface.

What is also interesting is someone wrote in another thread "fun loving Cambodians". Just writing "fun loving" for any South East Asian really bothers me. I enjoyed when someone wrote just put any of them in power and see how "fun loving" they are. Makes me think maybe someone out there feels like me and wouldn't mind bashing in these south east Asians heads in.

Honestly guys, I'm out of here soon and only doing this trip for 4 months. I just don't understand how you guys stay here. I mean, I assume many do it for a women but I would just go crazy.

So why do I want to bash these locals heads in? I just don't know and put it too many reasons but nothing specific. Maybe the constant harassment and especially from tuk tuk drivers, maybe the culture and the language. Maybe it is just normal human psychology to want to be with your own kind in your own country. I don't really know but deep down I don't really like these Asians.

Just looking for anyone who maybe feels the same? I'm sure maybe some of you suppress these feelings but deep down you wouldn't mind just bashing the locals heads in.

I mean lets face it, how many times do we hear of a bunch of thais all ganging up and beating up a white person. They also probably don't like us either, especially in places like Pattaya.

As I have often commented.

Many posts on Thaivisa would, under normality, be subject to Doctor/Patient confidentiality.

I only want to smash the face of some idiot drivers when they cut me off or tailgate me or overtake me from the motorcycle lane on the left.

But I don't think I will be ever able to catch them.

So I have to live also with the anger and go to the cinema to watch Blackhat.

Avoid any non white person you may meet especially Asians,

Best to fry them up. The city ones are best because their skin isn't as leathery.

Go home, put your backpck in your closet forever, get a boring job, marry somone you dislike, have some kids, get in debt for the rest of your life and leave world travelling to those that deserve it.

Alternatively,stay and get drunk or stoned, let some locals know how you feel and enjoy a nice stay in hospital where they have english speaking nurses and western food for you to enjoy in air conditioned comfort.

Stay off the tourist trail (Pattaya etc.) and get out into the real Thailand.

You do realise that a lot of us have Asian wifes and kids. I am 6ft 2 and for one would like to bash your face in.

Immigration needs to start doing psych screenings at the arrival terminal.
