Exchange 5000 Us$

Featured Replies

I have here 5000 US$ to change to THB.

Where do I get the best rate?

like 50 stang per $ would be 2500 Baht so worth to look arround a little bit.

Anyone knows something?

Dont sweat the small stuff. By the time you have investigated thoroughly, the rate might have changed and you could have lost (or gained) much more than that.

All the major banks offer pretty similar rates. There's no rocket science to this.

Sukhumvit and soi 9-- right on the corner. For what it's worth-- I read about a money scam concerning VASU on flyer talk so be careful. I have no idea if it is true or not.

There's a money-changer midway between the Asia Hotel and MBK Center which usually has the closest rates around.

I second that recommendation. Seems the best rate from my experience.

I love the part about a small person "often a small child" hides under the desk to scoop the money away.

Story sounds like total bullshit and so does the part about wanting to change 20K

u may try SuperRich.. at Prathunam. They give the best rate as far I have seen. the place is just opposite to Fashion World or ex World Trade Center. Its black market though.

Dear Sir,

SuperRich.. at Prathunam. They give the best rate as far I have seen. the place is just opposite to Fashion World or ex World Trade Center. Its black market though.

Super Rich is the best place among the place I went before.

Agreed, Super Rich is the best place for big dollar amounts... there are actually 2 Super Riches right across the street from each other... you can check the rates between them but they are pretty much the same... Yes black market but you can exchange huge amounts of money there... just watch your back as you leave! They can exchange 7figure amounts (THB) in just a few minutes... but they give you your money at the front counter which is pretty much visible by everybody inside the store... but 5K USD shouldn't is only about 2 stacks of Thai 1000's so it's not so noticeable... just don't walk in there with a backpack and birkenstocks and walk out counting your money, then you're just asking for it.

actually, I will give you mid-market rates if you want to exchange... i need USD anyway. If interested, PM me.
