Lethwai / Muay Thai / Bare knuckle event

I am lead to understand that each year around Song Gran, Myanmars best Lethwai fighters cross the border and theres a huge bare knuckle boxing tournament with many Thai muay Thai practitioners.. Lots of skullduggery and cheating also, one year many people were purposefully food poisoned the night before, other times Thai immigration rounded up many and deported them, etc etc..

I am trying to find out information about scheduling and location.. I would like to get there to do some photography and exposure of the event as its a bit off the farang map so far.

I am told its usually in Ranong province but unsure if its Ranong town or more remote.

Anyone know anything ?? Even vague connections like Ranong boxing gyms I could chase it down with.
