mommysboy
MB is finally a dad at 53 young, and a very proud one at that. My daughter is 6 weeks old and very bonny. At birth she had the first of a number of scheduled jabs, I think it was for Hep B. It has left a red raised bump on her shoulder. I am loathe to continue with the course, although the second jab didn't leave a mark. What jabs cause scars? Do they lessen over time ?, I seem to recall one I had went away eventually
bkkjames
That one will go away for the most part as she gets a bit older. Others don't leave marks. Fear not.

FBN
Vaccination jabs don't leave scars. Chicken pox is really the only one that leaves the familiar scar. The benefit of vaccination far outweighs the risk of a tiny scar..
Sheryl
What you are seeing is likely the BCG vaccine, which protects against certain types of tuberculosis. The BCG only is given intradermally hence the visible mark. The other vaccines will not do this.
