Refried Beans gone again

Featured Replies

Finding refried beans have always been hit or miss in Pattaya...

I have been pretty lucky finding refried beans at Friendship or Tops for a number of years now until about 3-4 months ago...Has anyone seen any refried beans around Pattaya...

Can you not re-fry them yourself ?

You are not alone, amigo, in noticing that. Got some in basement food market of Central Festival the other day. 84 baht for Casa Fiesta.

Buy the pinto beans dry...soak over night. Boil...mash and fry with a bit of lard...and bacon grease...salt .... done. Or add a pinch of cumin and chili........or even a few tbsp of dark beer lao.....done....

Make your own... Google "refried beans" if you are in need of a recipe...
