Airport Hotel(s)?

Featured Replies

Anyone know of decent places to stay in the area of the new airport? And I don't mean the Novetel Hotel at the airport, rates are a tad high there.

For Don Muang I used to recommend the Asia Airport Hotel just north at the ZEER Street mall, decent place, decent price, and sure handy for the run back to the airport, better than Comfort Suites if there's traffic, and a whole lot less expensive than the Amari Airport Hotel.

So, what's semi nearby Suvarnabhumi? Perhaps in the Bang Na area?

Besides the Novotel at the airport and Novotel on Srinakarin, there is a Dusit Princess on Srinakarin right next to Seacon Square (on the side away from Seri Center). I don't know of anyone who has ever stayed there, but the Dusit group doesn't normally put there names on a property unless it is at least a 3 star hotel. There are most probably smaller hotels spread around, but of the big names, the Novotel and Dusit are the only ones I am aware of.

Well, yes, a friend mentioned the Dusit Princess there next to Secon Square, and also the older Novel tell at Srinakarin at the junction with Bang Na Trat Hwy, however googling these shows prices that are not in the real economy range.

Still looking for something half way decent well below baht 2,000 a night, more like baht 1,200 or so like many there on Sukumvit Road.

Not really an Airport Hotel but it is only 500,- Baht!

For a short stay of a few days it´s allright.

Here is the link to this hotel Rinrada

There is another hotel across from Seacon Square named the Kings Park Hotel. I know it because the Rotary Club of Srinakarin meets there, although I don't have contact info on it at the moment. It does sound like this hotel would be more in your price range.
