Prayut criticises TV channel for using women in mini skirts as selling point

BANGKOK: -- Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has strongly criticised an unnamed TV channel for highlighting women in mini skirts in game shows and home shopping programs as its selling points.

Prayut said such programmes that also highlight dirty talks were not constructive. Prayut said such TV programmes proved that the media needed to be reformed

One may be excused to wonder why a previous Prime Minister who was really into equal right for women and dignity for women, didn't notice this issue.

Probably to many other things to do rolleyes.gif

There is so much the beloved leader does not understand...

Getting rid of miniskirts everywhere in Thailand should be one of the most urgent reforms that Thailand needs. The General ...sorry, I mean the Prime Minister is absolutely right! Miniskirts will only deepen the divide in Thailand.

Didn't he say last time that the British girl in Koh Tao was raped because she was wearing a bikini? Or something like that.

is that the 1850's ?

The Guy has his head firmly back in the days when women covered up from neck to ankle and he wants things back that way. Indeed; he wants the whole of Thailand and its people back in those days when nobody asked questions of important people and everyone grovelled on their knees in front of his ilk. This is the 'Reform' he has in mind.

Here we go ladies and gents, back to the 50's.

I don't think you meant the 1950's though.

Oh, do tell us more, Mr. Prime Minister.

What do you think of young men with untrimmed hair?

I tell you, the whole country is an afront to military discipline.

I'm pretty sure martial law and the new constitution gives him the right to shut down the bluddy TV channel and arrest everyone if he doesn't like the programming on any given day.

Purachi part 2

This from the guy who uses the threat of violence as a selling point! giggle.gif

This guy is losing it by the minute!!

Slowly (not really) moving the country backwards!!

12 core values

Moral council

and now, mini-skirts!!

Won't be long now and we'll see Abhisit, Suthep and Thaksin working together.

Had the former PM made the same comment, you and the misogynists of TVF would be along to call her fat and jealous etc.

The PM did speak out on the issue, but people like you ignored her because she was a "dumb broad".

Now the General speaks, so you should listen. He's right.

Thai women do wear some wonderfully short skirts.

What he should be complaining about is that most wear shorts under those short skirts!

( yes, I have looked...often! )

Maybe PM Prayut should try to see things in the right perspective ?

It was a news post made by Thaksin allies trying to divide the nation. He never said it! Martial law now needs to be extended for another 2 years. Case closed. Nation reformed!

Oh come on gKid, by now you should know me better than that. I would never call her a 'dumb broad' unless provoked. I'm more for 'Thai pretty' (although less than four years ago), or 'intellectually challenged' (then and now).

If the former PM did speak out on 'pretties' I must have missed that. As profound admirer you surely are able to give me a link ?

Actually the impeding new law he wishes to operate under gives him the right to execute the whole station if the whim so takes him.

Nonsense posts and replies have been removed as well as a post containing an image of nudity.

Somebody, please take him to soi Cowboy or walking street Pattaya to cure him from his sexual frustration.

Thailand will be in debt to you for your services.

Yes! Bring back Happiness to the People.
