lopburi
Today, Friday 26 March 2004, is a sad day for East Asia. Tonight at 9 p.m. will be the final broadcast of East Asia Today, which programme has been broadcast to Thailand for the past eighteen years. If you have never heard the program, delay your partying by half an hour tonight and tune in to the programme on FM 107. If you're a regular listener then, of course, you will be listening to the programme. You will be able to continue to listen to the BBC on FM 107 for a whole hour at 0600 hours local time from Nonthaburi to Pattaya or you can take pot luck with short wave if it is not being jammed by the PRC. So goodbye East Asia Today, you have kept us well informed and entertained for the past eighteen years. You will be sorely missed. RIP.
