I am a yank that use to get Non-O Multi entries easily when i was working in the UAE. My work has since been relocated to Cyprus and we only have an Honorary Consul limited to 90 day TR's. I have all the marriage and childrens birth certs and am in the house book. We live near Nong Khai so was looking at Vientiane to do a new Non-O Multi at. My concern is that the embassy website only says a Thai Bank Letter but not what it should demonstrate or attest too. I saw a posting from UbonJoe about Savvanakhet not requiring the financial proof so am curious as to what the Bank Letter should state or should I just pop into Savvankhet instead? All my financial support for my family are done via atm withdrawals since the wife has an account with my bank stateside so this wont show on our Thai bank statement.

Vientiane only does single entry non-o visas based upon marriage.

If you want a multiple entry non-o you will have to go to Savannakhet.

Just to confirm. Savannakhet still have the same procedures as of yesterday. A friend went there and he said no problems at all.
