Please remember, there were widows and fatherless children on both sides:

Don't start a fight and you don't get shot.

Truth and Justice are not concepts found in Thailand. Good luck fighting the good fight, but nothing will bring back Hannah Witheridge and David Miller. Oh, this was a Thai getting shafted by the system. Solly.

Right on cue Mrs Thuwatham. A tearful, emotional appeal, to back up and legitimise The Generals order to the media to "tell the truth" about the bloodshed.

Beautifully staged.

Yes, Goebbels would be proud!!

Nice to see there are still some clear headed posters around here, not buying into the Ministry of Propaganda's BS........................

This from a poster, who on another thread claimed, that 90 soldiers were killed.

Sorry if I don't take your posts too seriously.............

And in my post I said: On both sides

Goebbels and other notable propagandists like a certain Mr. Amsterdam. You remember the Thaksin lackey who came and made a provocative speech on stage, wearing a red shirt when Thaksin's puppet PTP were still clinging to power? He was lauded by the Shin gangs whilst they tried to hound a long term Indian businessman resident out for daring to appear with the protesters. No double standards from PTP then!

There are many widows who'd like the truth. This lady, the widow of the disappeared Moslem HR lawyer, the widow of Billy the ecology activist, the widow of Seah Daeng, and all those widows, mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters of those executed during the war on drugs and in the South without any form of trial.

And ask yourself, which family owned party has been in power for most of this century, when these crimes happened, and has done SFA about any of them? But they are good at propaganda, at trying to blame everyone else, at pretending things aren't what they are ................. oh, and lying of course.

Based on your posts, I doubt you've experienced a clear head for a long long time, if ever.

Is her quest for justice and truth any different from the father who lost his son, but is being labelled a "troublemaker " and was recently arrested ?

Both of them have a hard time dealing with what happened.

No difference at all.

Nor any different from all those other widows and widowers, mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters who've lost love ones - be it through disappearance, murder, extra judicial execution. Be it for political purposes or corruption or simply because an rich powerful enemy was made or someone new something by chance.

The rich, powerful and connected here have simply brushed things under the carpet whenever it suited.
