Well, I am now stuck in Laos because the Consulate to apply for my 60-90 day Tourist Visa to Thailand was closed on Wednesday the 15th.

They apparently, open back up on Friday... If I give my documents on Friday, they say it is a 2 Day Process, so will they be ready on Monday or Tuesday?

I need to know so I can re-schedule my flight.

I tried calling them but had no luck. The schedule on the website is very confusing as it appears they were open Wednesday, but are not. Would have been nice to make it clear they were closed on Wednesday, saw a bunch of people walking away with head down, thinking they were open.

I agree it could be construed that they're open today (nothing visible in the date square).

They're closed tomorrow (Thursday) for Lao New Year. Looks like they open Friday, so submit then (AM) pick up passport next working day (Monday) PM.

It might not work for everyone, but I have actually memorized the Thai and Lao holidays. This way I know when my wife has long weekends for a beach holiday for instance with the added bonus of being able to plan consular trips and even more importantly making sure that my visas never expire during songkran. Your situation is very unfortunate with the website error. I hope you didn't lose out too much financially.
