Suicidal Filipino Boxer in knife incident at East Pattaya Gym



PATTAYA: -- Police were called to a popular Gymnasium located in East Pattaya in the early hours of Thursday to assist in dealing with a Filipino resident of the Gym who was armed with two knives and was threatening to kill himself.

Police arrived at the Red Bull Gym and Muay Thai School in Soi Chayapornviti 1 and began dialogue with Mr. Chapito Rivera aged 25 who was clearly distraught and was holding two knives.

Mr. Rivero had already damaged items within the gym and inside his room at the rear of the main building. Other residents confirmed that Mr. Rivero was celebrating his Birthday with friends and had been drinking heavily all night.
