Hi

Advice required regarding obtaining an extension of stay based on dependency. My colleague is over 50 and has been granted an extension of stay based on retirement. His daughter is trying to obtain an extension to stay due to dependency - father/daughter. Now after numerous trips to Jomtien immigration, & a trip to the Thai Embassy in Loa for a Non Imm O visa they are now saying that there is an age limit for granting an extension of stay based on dependency! FYI she is 19 and turns 20 in a few months. Now I was not aware that there was an age limit for this type of extension!

Thoughts please
