userabcd
I have a marriage visa extension applied for in August 2014 and after the 30 day consideration period, was granted by immigration in September 2014. The 400000 Baht funds used for my 1st marriage visa extension was in my savings account for 2 months before the extension application. My 2nd marriage visa extension is coming up for renewal again in August 2015 and my query is how long the money 400000 baht has to be in the bank account - 2 months or 3 months. Thanks to anyone who could advise.

Lite Beer
Nope. 2 Months for every application. (6) In the case of marriage to a Thai woman, the alien husband must earn an average annual income of no less than Baht 40,000 per month or must have no less than Baht 400,000 in a bank account in Thailand for the past two months to cover expenses for one year. bigt3116
Yes, it would appear that some Immigration offices are doing it wrong, Jomtien for one. :-)
