Khon Kaen Hotel needed close to bar area.

Need some advice re a hotel close to the bar area in Khon Kaen. Close to Erics bar and the other bars there.

Budget is up to 1000 baht. Only need a basic clean room walking distance to the bar area.

I need a place with secure car parking.

Any help much appreciated.

However his recent post made no mention of hotels close to the bar area.

Quite the opposite in fact. I think he stayed out of town.

By close I really need a short walking distance as I have an ongoing and troublesome foot injury.

Agreed; Kosa, although big, is very good and very convenient for Bar access. No "corkage" necessary.

Kosa is old but well appointed. Large rooms. Good steak, beer garden right next door. About 2 minutes stagger from bars.
