johnnort
Hello, I have just returned from a 4 day journey away from Thailand to be told by my wife that she has had an inoculation at the local public clinic. I was furious; she did not know what it was nor what it was for! Everybody had to have it, was all the explanation I got. Please, can anyone tell me what this is all about? There is no one at the clinic that I am able to talk with. Thank you!
Thanyaburi Mac
No idea, and no general required shots at the Klong 10 health clinic, Thanyaburi, these days. Go back with your wife and ask them to write it out Mac
Sheryl
No idea. Might hep to know where you live, as this may be a localized thing.

Sheryl
Yes, probably. Possibly a local outbreak of H1N1. It will not, BTW, have been mandatory. Just recommended.
ataloss
I don't allow even my dogs to have shots unless I see the written names, as I do for myself. Just seconds before being given an anti-tetanus shot for a cat bite and asking to check the container, I discovered the medical aide was not using the recently prescribed medicine: "Oh, sorry" she said while checking the cabinet for the correct medicine. It can be a jungle out there at times....
