Uk Visa referneces

Featured Replies

In the past couple of days, we have filled in and submitted online, my wifes UK family visit visa application. My wife has gone in today to one of the places of work that she frequents, only to find the shop shut down, and with no prior warning. We have included this place of work as one of her references on the application form.

My question is, now that we have filled in the online form and submitted, can we edit the application or do we have to do it all again. Alternatively, can we handwrite on the printed out copy of the application in the "additional information" section, that this has happened since submitting the application?.

I hope they don't have any issues with this...honesty is the best policy ;-)

You do know that 13th was a public holiday right? Did you check back the next day?

Sorry Paul888, what relevance has the 13th got to do with my post?

In the absence of a reply, I would say:-

13th = date of your post

13th = date of your wife's visit to the shop

13th = Royal Ploughing Ceremony (not a bank holiday but many places close)

13th = shop closed

14th shop open again ???

aha, I see...never known her place of work to be closed, but see where you're coming from. Wasn't aware of the national holiday. The shop in question has ceased trading and we have added a note to the application.
