opalhort
Google is OK now and TV loads much faster but international speed (US, EU) is VERY slow at only 70-90Kbps on a 1Mbps True ADSL line. my usual speed is 800-900Kbps. Has somebody cut a cable somewhere again? Speeds within Thailand are full throttle. opalhort

fanciman
what is the solution to the dns probelms, for people that still cannot reach gmail? (Or google, for that matter...)
PMK
That link seems to be broken. Can also use http://internetfrog.com or http://dnsstuff.com If, for whatever reason, one needs an easy lookup for ip address from a URL, there's a free program at the link below which makes the process easy on a Windows machine.Regards http://www.gena01.com/win32whois/ PS on the speed issue almost any site using a counter script seems to be in a time vortex. lomatopo
Perhaps not related to this current situation but the following may be helpful to some: I'm outside of the US. Why can't I access Gmail? Access to Gmail from countries and territories outside the United States may be limited because of proxy issues. If you're not in the US and can't log in to Gmail, try accessing your account at https://mail.google.com.
