Not tried the UK, but it didn't work from Singapore when I tried last year 'only available in Thailand' sad.png

EDIT Just tried it via my UK VPN - only available in Thailand :(

Only works in Thailand,if you have a VPN and have it set for UK,or any other country

it will not work, even though you are in Thailand.

Don't know about IlikeHDtv but I've always used Expat TV (formally UKTV) on trips back to the UK without any problems.

Works fine and no VPN required.

Arrived back in the UK.

VPN to Thailand still doesn't work.

I've got ThaiExpat TV and 365sport both work without a VPN , fine in the UK.

It states quite clearly on the website QandA that ilikehd will not work outside Thailand vpn or not

I wonder why they go to so much trouble to protect their content, for that matter how do they know if one is using a VPN / proxy, even the BBC only geolocate by IP address at present?

This company http://www.threatmetrix.com/technology/proxy-and-vpn-detection/ provide a VPN detection system, at >10 grand US

Netflix appear to be using a brute-force technique https://torrentfreak.com/netflix-cracks-down-on-vpn-and-proxy-pirates-150103/
