My (Thai) wife and I are starting a business in Thailand - or rather legally, she is. I have two questions that I'm hoping someone can help me with: Firstly, is signing a legal document loaning my wife money, the best way of ensuring that I have some rights over the business (and how much do firms like Sunbelt Asia charge for doing this?

Secondly, I am currently on a tourist visa. Do I qualify for a non-immigrant O visa, purely on the strength of my marriage and is this the best way to go, or should I apply for a work permit to run my business? Any advice would be gratefully recieved.
