Electric Filter installation service required in Pattaya

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm not a technical guy and looking for a company that can sell me and install the electric filter in Pattaya. I've read the forum, found some links, but they are really "Do It Yourself".

I have an UPS saving computer from power failures. However it does not protect the computer from electric noise. UPS is quickly switching, but it seems that its not fast enough and computer get rebooted (tried different UPS models)

Local electric office does not provide such service.

Mains noise takes many forms, exactly what is the 'noise' you are intending to 'filter'?

If the UPS is switching and the PC reboots it may be worthwhile looking at your PC power supply. As they age and / or approach their maximum output they become less tolerant of supply drop-outs. It certainly should be able to survive the switching of your UPS and even a break that makes your lights flicker.

Is the UPS in question a proper computer UPS from a reputable manufacturer? (please post make and model)

Is the UPS adequately sized for the application? (make sure your laser printer is not connected to the UPS)

Are the UPS batteries in good condition (does it keep your PC running if you pull the mains plug)?

Is your PC correctly grounded?

Thank you for your reply, Crossy. Earlier I bought APC for about 5000 baht, but computer rebooted twice during the rain with thunder near by. So I brought it back and exchanged on Syndome (thai vendor). UPS and power supply are of appropriate power. In case if power failure it works ~ 10 minutes.

On another forum ppl told me to pay attention to power supply too. I use Corsair VS650. Good vendor but simplest model that they offer. Computer is used as desktop without external video card.

Again, thank you for answering to my question.
