Since getting our two pups a year ago we have been treating them with Frontline here in LOS. It was effective in controlling fleas and ticks on our pets in Australia and has been working here also.

My wife came home today with an alternative brand I have never heard of called "Alprocide". She informed me it was the Thai equivalent but a lot cheaper so thought we should give it a try.

It is applied in exactly the same way and frequency. I think it is an Indian "generic" product but not sure.

I assume that it also uses Fipronil as the active ingredient as the application is the same but I can't find any useful information online?

As such, I thought I would ask my fellow TV members and pet-owners if you know anything about this product, it's active ingredient/s and it's effectiveness?

Wifey came with the same stuff today. So now i have the same questions. Did you get any wiser already?

I have to use it because the guy that came every month and gave my dog an injection won't be coming anymore. He "miss"shot last time and my dog chased him away.
