I found on the web that the Thai post office at Prakanong is open on Saturdays from 9-12pm, just wanted to verify that that info is current and correct? Thanks

yes...it is open on Sat mornings only...but not Sundays...

Though, in case it matters, the Nana Post office on Suk Road near Soi 4 is open 7 days a week.
