Really, moaning about a couple hundred baht?

Well, it is a little more than a couple hundred baht. But, the first time this happened to me, at least I took the time to search on ThaiVisa and realized, oops, I should have known. I just considered it a newbie learning experience. Most of us have similar learning experiences here, often costing more money.

It always pays to read the terms and conditions. International hire car companies and budget airlines in particular.

If items need to be cleared through customs then there is normally the need to use a handling agent who also wants to be paid.

Having a tantrum over a small sum of money and worse still using a term like mafia to describe the incident is plain juvenile.

DHL did nothing wrong in this case.
